PUSD Managed Apple IDs are unique to our district and will now be separate from Apple IDs that you can create for yourself. If you currently have a personal Apple ID that was created using your PUSD email account, you will be contacted by Apple to provide a new email address to associate with your personal Apple ID content. You have up to 60 days to provide a new personal email address before Apple changes your personal Apple ID account to a temporary ID. Any previous purchases or subscriptions you have made will be re-associated with your new personal Apple ID. Additional information can be found here. After going through this process, you will need to log out of all of your PUSD Apple devices and sign back in with your PUSD Managed Apple ID (your PUSD username and password).

During these 60 days:

Users will receive an email from Apple to change to a new personal Apple ID.

What if I did not change the Apple ID after 60 days?

If user does not update their email after 60 days, they will then be moved into the @temproary.appleid.com account by default.
